Review:
I can remember watching Cherry 2000 as a kid and I absolutely fell in love with it. Although it was a failure at the box office and most cinema patrons have not even heard of the picture to this day I think it still stands up as a very underrated film of the 1980's.Basically to make a long story short Sam Treadwell (David Andrews) has a sex robot that malfunctions after some adult escapades in a hot tub. Sex robots have a memory unit that you can remove from there head and install into a new body, and of course the body he needs is in "zone 7" which is heavily guarded by a militia. So he hires a tracker named "E" Johnson (Melanie Griffith) to take him in to get the love of his life Cherry which is the robot. It sounds cheesy and "B" grade but its worth watching.
