Trivia: Doc mentions to Marty that he visited a rejuvenation clinic in the future to make him appear younger. This was written so that Christopher Lloyd would not have to constantly wear old-age makeup for the two sequels, since he would primarily be portraying the 1985 incarnation of Doc.
-Marty's denim jacket from the first movie is for sale in the antique store in 2015.
-Crispin Glover had not granted permission to use his likeness, and sued Steven Spielberg. The suit was settled, and the Screen Actors Guild introduced new rules about illicit use of actors.

Goofs: Crew or equipment visible: At the beginning of the film, as the Doc departs the McFly house with Marty and Jennifer, the camera is briefly reflected in the rear futuristic shiny license plate.

Quotes:
[first lines]
Young Jennifer: How 'bout a ride, mister?
Marty McFly: Jennifer! Oh, man, are you a sight for sore eyes; let me look at you.
Young Jennifer: Marty, you're acting like you haven't seen me in a week.
Marty McFly: I haven't.

Awards: Nominated for Oscar. Another 6 wins & 5 nominations

Review:
Back to the Future Part II had its share of problems getting into production. Contract negotiations led to the dropping of Crispin Glover from the cast and led to an extensive rewrite of the original script to accomodate the almost total absense of his character George Mcfly.

The result is a fairly enjoyable movie. The plot is decent and the special effects are better than the original. You are transported to 2015 and shown all the speculative techological marvels of the future. You are brought back to a 1985 that is quite different from the one they originally came from, And you are taken back to the same week in 1955 from the original movie to restore the timeline back to its original course.

If you liked the orginal, you will love part II so sit back, relax and enjoy this decent sequal.

1.21 Gigawatts BTTF FEVER

I have just finished watching the BTTF trilogy on dvd again and I must say that I learn more about these movies every time I watch them. I still have to admit that part 2 still ranks in my mind as the best one. I love the future that Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale put together, I love the updated Delorean and I love how BTTF 2 goes into BTTF 1. I wish that Hollywood still knew how to make movies like this....it truly is a one of a kind! Anyway's the only thing I would change about this movie is that Cripsin Glover would have not been so difficult and revised his role as George McFly. I say this even though I never realized as a kid that is was not him playing the part as the director and effects team did a great job masking it.
